Tony has 37 years experience in PR and journalism, and established the agency in 1990.
After 13 years in local, provincial and national newspaper journalism in the UK, including two years of sports radio broadcasting with the BBC in Wales, he arrived in Dubai in 1986 following a short stint in Muscat, Oman.
Originally working as a sports reporter with Khaleej Times, he moved into PR as an Account Director with Bain Communications in 1987, handling accounts such as Emirates Airline, Dubai Duty Free, Rothmans and Airbus. He also directed the international promotion of Dubai as a golf and travel destination through the Emirates Golf Club, Dubai Creek Golf Club and the Dubai Desert Classic, and continued this work after setting up Total Communications.
He has handled PR for Mohammed Ben Sulayem for most of his career as a rally driver, event organiser, businessman and safe driving campaigner. He has also directed PR support programmes for a variety of other major clients, including Hertz, InterContinental Hotels Group, City of Arabia, Ford, Jumeirah Group, Philip Morris, the Beau Rivage Palace Hotel and Seiler Hotels in Switzerland, and Streamline Marketing Group.
Originally from Newtown, Powys in Mid-Wales, Tony is a well known face in Dubai and one of the regions most experienced and versatile PR professionals.
